PROPERTIES:

Permethrin is a second-generation synthetic pyrethroid that acts on the sodium channels of the axons of insects (fleas, ticks and insects) causing excitement, convulsion, paralysis and death of insects.

INDICATIONS:

External parasitosis in dogs produced by fleas: Ctenocephalides canis, Ctenocephalides felis and Pulex irritans.

Ticks: Dermacentor spp., Rhipicephalus spp. and Otobius megnini.

Lice: Linognathus spp.

Repellent of flies and mosquitoes.

It is indicated in the prevention and treatment of external parasitosis of dogs, produced by ticks of the genera Rhipicephalus, Dermacentor and Amblyomma . Topical administration in the neck. 
It is constituted by an external antiparasitic of the group of formamidinas, that acts on the SNC of the mites, causing an abnormal behavior of the same ones, with its detachment and death. It is released slowly and controlled from the collar, deposited on the fur of the animal.

Contraindications
Do not use in cats. 

Observations
In case of accidental ingestion of the collar, adrenergic-type symptoms will appear. In these situations, it is convenient to induce vomiting, administer a mild laxative and institute a symptomatic treatment. As a specific treatment, yohimbine or atipamezole, which act as antidotes to amitraz, will be administered. 

Special precautions
Prevent the animal from biting the collar. Wash your hands after handling the necklace
