The Alpha A7 III body offers a dazzling one-two of speed and performance that allows it to compete among the heavyweights! Capable of shooting outrageously high-quality stills and video, this mirrorless camera can do it all.

Updated from previous models, speed and low-light performance have both been optimised with the full-frame 24.2MP Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor and BIONZ image processor. These combine for a mighty 10 fps continuous shooting rate and augmented autofocus performance (with 693 tracking points no less!) that improves speed and reliability of tracking even in wide frame coverage.

That's not all the improved processor can do though. Enjoy improved image clarity and minimal noise in the ISO 100-51200 sensitivity range that can easily be expanded to ISO 50-204800. Video recording has also been developed, resulting in heightened quality when recording UHD 4K video with HDR that's free from pixel binning!

Shoot knowing the full width of the full-frame sensor prevents moiré and aliasing and that the new Hybrid Log Gamma profile allows for extra freedom and creativity in post-production. Finally, benefit from the high-capacity NP-FZ100 battery that's new for the A7 and can snap up to 710 images on a single charge. Whether your needs are work or hobby-based, this camera kills it!
