The Spear & Jackson Razor sharp Ratchet Anvil Secateurs utilise an anvil (knife like) cutting action onto a flat lower blade known as the anvil. These particular secateurs will easily cut material up to 20 mm in diameter.The ratchet action allows for easier pruning in four short steps, squeeze the handle until the ratchet engages with an audible ‘click’, release pressure and reapply until the next ‘click’ repeat until the cut is complete.
