WI-FI OBD INSPECTOR AUTO is able to detect and interpret these protocols automatically. It also provides support for high-speed communications and a power sleep mode. AT commands are used to communicate with a host device (PC, laptop, iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and so on). There are tons of software packages available, which are fully compatible with WI-FI OBD AUTO INSPECTOR. Some of them have quite useful features, Monitoring of engine running parameters, Reading and clearing of DTCs, MPG meter, etc. You can even write your own software on a specified hardware platform if you want, because the commands they are fully documented and very well explained.

WI-FI OBD INSPECTOR AUTO is only measuring 2.7x1.25x0.9 inches. It comes bundled with a built-in power switch to avoid the need to constantly disconnect your unit from the OBDII port. It is compatible with 1996 and later vehicles. Connection with iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad is made by WIFI connection in AD hoc mode.

OBD Compliant Vehicles Elder has a label indicating that the vehicle is OBD compliant. 1996 model year and newer vehicles are supported by default, and will not have this label.
