Steeped in history, the Teasmade concept can be traced back to 1891 when its inventor, Samuel Rowbottom, developed the first ‘Teawaker', which became known as the Teasmade from 1932. Hugely popular in the 60s, 70s and 80s, Teasmades quickly became a design icon. By the early noughties, stock was extremely sought after and flew off the shelves as soon as they became available. Swan re-introduced them to the market in 2009 and is proud to offer a range of contemporary and classic models with rapid boil functions, analogue as well as LCD clocks and ceramic teapots - perfect for when one cup is just not enough!

Happy with the products price..cheapest anywhere
We have relied on a teasmade for many years and after twenty years our old one needed replacing. I was able to get a new replacement from Onbuy, at a reasonable price and delivered the following day. We now have tea in the morning again!
Lovely item, just what we wanted, it's makes a lovely cup of tea, bought as a replacement for our other one which leaked, very well packaged and delivered on time, overall very happy.
Brilliant, we have always had a teas-made here. Shame that it is now made in China, not in UK.
Ordered and arrived within 48 hours, and was put to immediate use with positive results. Now in use every morning
I bought this as a gift for my mum. She loves it. She said the light on the clock dims in the evening so not too bright while sleeping, it flases when tea is ready. The only negative is she said there is no where to put her cup and tea to store them the older styles you could put on top of the teasmade. Although she said this is more stylish. She love it definitely recommend
Easy to use. Compact. Better than previous generation models I've had. Would recommend to anyone looking for one. You won't be disappointed.

I liked (a) that the hands of the clock are long enough to enable one to set an accurate time for the alarm (nor always the case!) and (b) there is a light as an integral part of the teasmade
Works well but rather expensive, not readily available elsewhere.Have used this product over many years, need to keep descaled in our hard water area.
