The Valiant Ones Description

Wuxia epic written and directed by King Hu. When Japanese pirates working with corrupt officials persist in attacking China's southern coast during the Ming dynasty, disrupting trade and devastating the region, General Yu Dayou (Roy Chiao) is tasked with leading a group of highly trained warriors to eliminate the threat. His team includes husband and wife Wu Ji-yuan (Bai Ying) and Wu Ruo-shi (Feng Hsu), who are both skilled martial artists and swordfighters. Together they go in search of Hakatatsu (Sammo Hung), the leader of the pirates, but the challenge they face may prove to be insurmountable. The cast also includes Tu Kuang-chi, Zhao Lei and Han Ying-Chieh.
