Vigalex MAX vitamin D 4000IU Description

Indications for use:

Prevention of vitamin D deficiency and conditions resulting from vitamin D deficiency (e.g. osteomalacia, osteoporosis) in adults with obesity (BMI ≥ 30 kg/m² body weight).

Dosage and method of administration:

Without medical supervision, do not use other medicines or dietary supplements or other types of food containing vitamin D (cholecalciferol), calcitriol or other metabolites and analogues of vitamin D at the same time.

Without medical supervision, do not use the medicinal product long-term (over 3 months) or in doses higher than recommended.

Prevention of vitamin D deficiency and conditions resulting from vitamin D deficiency in adults with obesity:

usually the recommended dose is 4000 IU per day, in the months from October to April or throughout the year, if effective skin synthesis of vitamin D is not ensured in the summer months.

Patients with renal failure:

the product should not be used in patients with renal failure without medical supervision.

Patients with hepatic failure:

no dose adjustment necessary.

Children and adolescents:

this product is contraindicated in children and adolescents under 18 years of age due to the dose of 4000 IU cholecalciferol.

Method of administration:

take the tablet with a sufficient amount of fluid.

Composition:

One tablet contains 40 mg of cholecalciferol, powder, which corresponds to 0.1 mg of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3)
