I’m taking these on the recommendation of my optician and opthalmic surgeon. I have the start of macular degeneration in both eyes and this product is one of the very few on the market that contains Areds2, the six vitamins and minerals which recent research has shown may well help with the management of macular degeneration. This is only the second purchase so I cannot say whether or not the product is effective. However, I plan on continuing with the product! The tablets are large but can be cut with a sharp knife if necessary!
I'm happy with this product but wish it could be in gell form as the tablets are large and with edges which need quite a bit of soft food around them to swallow.

The problem I have is that this product cannot cure AMD but only prevent it from getting worse. It is very difficult to judge what is happening

Been diagnosed last month with early age related macular degeneration and decided to try this supplement so been taken it for nearly 3 week too early to say I will have to post next year when I have another check up. tablets are quite big and I have to split them to swallow them but if it helps to slow down the disease I will keep taking them.
The tablets are easy to take but the problem with AMD is that it is difficult to see results. But my Amsler tests are not getting worse and that is all one can hope for.
Seems to be 1 of only 2 suppliers of the formulae recommended in a recent AREDS2 study review, better price, 1 a day app.
