waterproof swimming mp3 player 8GB headphone

Good quality sound, arrived before expected date, although made ans shipped from China I was lucky but usually sceptical about China involvement.

I have had theses before, they lasted about ten years and I am a regular swimmer. So I would say well worth the money. Bought same again because I was very pleased with the ones I already had. Unfortunately the ones I had just gave up with being thrown around in my sports bag!!!

These are definitely the best waterproof headphones (and .mp3 player - so you can actually download .mp3 files onto it) that I've tried and I have tried just about every make and variety that exists, including bone conduction ones. I really enjoy listening to Podrunner BPM podcasts as I swim so I can gradually increase my swimming pace.

These are comfortable, quick to put on and take off, they work fine and the charge lasts for about 4 swims. They are easy to load with .mp3 files or just connect them using bluetooth to a phone. I prefer to load .mp3 files because to maintain the bluetooth connection I'd have to leave my phone close to the side of the pool which is not safe.

My ONLY complaint is that the the bit that you have to put into a USB slot to charge them or change the .mp3 files (see photos) breaks really really easily. I am super careful when taking the player out to charge it and when putting it back again. If I'm very careful the plastic hinge works for about 6-9 months max, then I have to buy another one, until someone else manufactures something better.

I have emailed the company to suggest that they need to make this part more robust but they haven't responded. I will keep using them though as they are otherwise really good and the best option on the market that I've found.

The photos show the problem/design flaw - In the photos where I'm pointing with a pencil, the whole black unit with the yellow plastic USB strip, is the .mp3 player and it clips into the headphone unit shown in the second photo. Clipping the .mp3 player in and out of the headphones is really difficult without putting some pressure on the yellow strip. As a result it eventually breaks off and the headphones are then useless.

However, they are otherwise SO good that I am now on my third set. If the manufacturers could just fix this one fault they would have a 5 star review from me, otherwise its just 4 star which is a shame as it is otherwise an excellent product.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I am so impressed with this water proof MP3 player I felt I just had to share. Priced at £20 I wasn’t really expecting much after all you get what you pay for, however this MP3 player is amazing, so easy to use simply plug into your pc or laptop transfer the music and away you go, the sound is great and it’s very comfortable to wear, I swim every day and it hasn’t let me down yet. The delivery was faster than expected which was a bonus, with Christmas coming up I will definitely be purchasing more to give to my friends so they can enjoy the great quality as much as I do.

This waterproof MP3 player is great. I purchased the 8Gb version, and with its outstanding battery life this will keep smiling on the water all day long. I initially purchased this for open water swimming. In longer distance swims I would find my mind wandered, mostly to thinking about food which inevitably led me to getting out of my local lake and going home to eat. With a big swimming even on the horizon I knew I had to clock up the miles in preparation and someone joking suggested it would be great to listen to an audio book or something similar. A few online reviews and I found this device to be both adequate and cost effective. Once it arrived, I added what must have been 6 hours of music and hit the lake. I was really surprised and the sound quality thanks to its in-ear rubber cups (which luckily fitted me straight out of the box, even though other sizes are included)
A great side effect is I no longer get water in my ears which used to cause me a few problems in the past. The hours and kilometres went by as I clocked up the laps till eventually the big day arrived, Ullswater.
Facing a 7.5miles swim was never going to be an easy task but with this MP3 player it certainly made it easier than just listening to the gurgling of bubbles around my ears. It even kept my mind off food. 5 hours later I’m walking out of the water with the music still going strong. I now use it for surfing and stand up paddle boarding also. A great little device that’s comfortable to wear and adds an extra layer of enjoyment to anything water related.

I purchased these for my morning swim sessions to help make the time go more quickly. They are easy to set up and the ear buds are so comfortable with a great sound quality that I now wish my sessions were longer. A great item at a very reasonable price.

Item cost less than half of what other retailers were selling it for. First time i have purchased from Onbuy and will not be the last. The quality and detail in shipping updates was brilliant.
