Westland Hydroleca Clay Granules 10L Pack of 2 Description

Westland Hydroleca Clay Granules – 10L Pack of 2

Description:

Westland Hydroleca Clay Granules are premium ceramic clay balls designed to enhance drainage, improve humidity and stabilise moisture levels in plant containers. Their smooth, dense structure absorbs and slowly releases water helping prevent overwatering and promoting healthier root development. Ideal for indoor and outdoor use, these granules can be used as a decorative pot topper, a drainage layer or mixed into compost for improved aeration and moisture control.

How to Use:

As a Drainage Layer

1. Add a layer of Hydroleca at the bottom of pots or containers.
2. Fill the rest with compost and plant as usual.
3. Excess water will drain into the Hydroleca, preventing saturation.

For Raising Humidity

1. Add a 2cm layer to a tray or decorative cover pot.
2. Moisten the granules.
3. Place plant pots on top to benefit from gradual moisture release.

Mixing with Compost

1. Add a handful of Hydroleca to your potting mix.
2. For lightweight mixes, use 1 part Hydroleca to 3 parts compost.
3. This improves aeration, moisture retention, and root health.

As a Decorative Topper

1. Spread a layer on top of your potting compost.
2. Helps reduce moisture loss and gives a clean, attractive finish.
