(Yellow ) Nintendo Switch Lite Console

Very happy with this product. Purchased for use primarily in the United Kingdom. For clarity, the model is a brand new, sealed Japanese Nintendo Switch Lite games console - Grey [HDH-001]. Box also included Nintendo Switch AC Adapter [HAC-002(JPN)] and a Japan 2-pin to UK 3-pin plug converter. I would assume on this basis the console was shipped from Hong Kong. Box manufacturing year references 2019.

For any UK-based gamers hesitant about picking up a Hong Kong region Switch Lite, this is a seamless way to grab the console, often at a more competitive price point or when local stock is fluctuating.
Performance & Build
The Slate Grey finish is arguably the most sophisticated look for the Lite; it has a matte, tactile feel that resists fingerprints better than the brighter colorways. Despite being the "compact" version of the hardware, the build quality feels incredibly solid. The integrated D-pad is a massive tactile upgrade over the individual buttons on the standard Joy-Cons of the Switch V1/V2/OLED, making it the superior choice for 2D indies and classic platformers. I have since however "switched" the original console shell for a soft-touch, matte black housing - and upgraded the Joy-Cons to tunnel magnetoresistance joysticks, as well as changing the colour way of the face buttons and D-Pad (to black) and the ABXY action buttons (SNES RGBY).
Regional Compatibility
The "HK" designation is essentially a non-issue for a UK user. Since the Nintendo Switch is region-free, the console setup is identical to a local unit.
Language: You can select English immediately upon booting.
eShop: You can sign in with your UK Nintendo account and access the local store without restrictions.
Physical Media: UK and EU cartridges work perfectly.
