In 2016, I traveled to the town of Carrbridge, Scotland, to compete in the Golden Spurtle World Porridge Making Championship. From among the best oatmeal makers in the world, I was so honored to be declared the winner! I owe it all to my one-of-a-kind Steel Cut Oats - the very same oats that are in this bag.

To your good health, Bob Moore

Make My Award-Winning Oat Meal At Home

Bring water and salt to a boil. Add Steel Cut Oats, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes (or longer for creamier oatmeal). Remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes.

Steal Cut Oats in the Slow Cooker

Combine 4 cups water, 1 cup oats and 1/2 tsp salt in a 4-6 quart slow cooker. Cover with lid and cook on low for 7-8 hours or overnight. Makes 4-servings.

Whole grain oats.

Manufactured in a facility that also uses tree nuts, soy, wheat and milk.

Store in a cool, dry place. Keeps best refrigerated or frozen after opening.
