We purchased this kettle as it is a stainless boiling kettle as we realised the one we owned was plastic. As plastic seems to be getting into the food chain and our bodies we wanted to try to reduce that posibity. Also its supersede very ECO friendly with a double skin, making the outer surface cooler and child safe as the temperature does not get high enough to burn skin, plus it reduces the heat loss through boiling as the boiling surface is "insulated" by the air gap. Thus making it more energy efficient.
i’m really happy with my bosch kettle easy to use has a keep warm function . Can’t fault it deffo recommend
