Got this to replace Virgin Media as large price rise the gentleman phoned to say was upgrading to a better model bt were help when installing if it plays up don’t be frightened to factory reset and reinstall which have done a couple of times as retunes the channels but have to put all app passwords in again saved me money records tv and pauses tv when watching all goodBT YouView HD Recorder - 500 GB

You can record 3 programs at the same time. It has 600 hrs of recording space. It says you are able to set up a recording whilst out, by using your phone, I haven’t tried this yet. The only thing is if you have a series recording and you get more then one episode recorded, I can’t find anyway of deleting episodes until you catch up and delete the lot. But overall I am extremely pleased with this item.tv recorder

Very pleased with upgraded version of the recordable box.By purchasing this item I can now finish my monthly contract with BT.Only one moan,advised for delivery between 3-5 August,It arrived on the 1st with no notification from the seller or the courier.It was a good job that I was home.

Not sure about this box as we got upgraded to the plus because of stock issues but with what i set up for my Father who the box was for with not much diffrence in this box and the plus it was well worth the money with a really efficient menu etc... if it was the choice of paying extortonate prices with sky,virgin etc... these days or going with 1 of these 1 off payments than its a no brainer, ill be buying one after my sky contract. Great piece of equitment. Be sure you have an outside Ariel before you purchase as that's neededSurprising product
I used several BT/Humax set top boxes in the past, but this new pro style collected all the stars.Ergonomically and technically it is a success. Remote is simplified and excellent. It can record 4 separate channels and plus lets you watch one. Picture and sound quality is very high, supplied with a free hdmi cable.
I can highly reccomend it. Also the most important thing ithe price is reasonable too.

I bought this to replace my previous BT box which performed well for 10 years. I expected to receive the latest version, with similar spec. I was therefore delighted to actually receive a much higher spec model for the same price. Very good service from Onbuy.com and super fast delivery and accurate parcel tracking.Excellent seller
I actually received an upgrade so can only review the BT TV Box Pro. It comes with double the memory - 1TB - and connects via WiFi rather than having to plug it into the broadband like the older model. Otherwise it's very similar and works just as I'd like it to. The only streaming service missing is Disney+, if this was added this box would be perfect! The remote controls my TV as well but there are a couple of functions missing from this new version - you can't skip forward 60 secs at a time any more, which was really useful when watching a recorded show with as breaks! Also, there is no Stop button any more either, so if you have paused live TV you have to change the channel then back again to catch up to live again.- Previous
