Bought as a replacement for older brita kettle which has served me well. I can taste the difference as coffee always better with filtered water.

i wanted to replace my existing kettle as it wouldn't switch off automatically anymore,i liked the Morphy Richards brita kettle so i thought one exactly the same would be good.It is easier to pour with, doesn't hold as much water in the filter bit so if you want a full kettle you have to keep filling it and the clear panel which shows how full the kettle is doesn't illuminate blue like the old one did which was a handy feature.It does seem to boil quicker than the last.
I have had a number of Morphy Richards Brita filter kettles, this latest model has a different lid ( manual to open) two of my previous ones the lids actually broke apart at the hinge: hope this change fares better with heavy handed menfolk in the house.
