Nitromors Rust Remover Jelly 500ml Description
Nitromors Rust Remover Jelly removes rust from all metal objects. The non-drip gel is ideal for vertical application and suitable for use as a rust remover dip. This viscous liquid reacts with rust to leave a grey, ready-to-be-painted surface and will react with all-metal oxides to make the removal of rust easy.
- Remove any traces of oil or grease from the rusty area. Use steel wool or a wire brush to remove any old paint or loose rust. Pour into a suitable container and replace the screw cap immediately
- Apply a thick coat directly onto rusty areas only, and agitate every few minutes to keep the gel active. Do not allow to dry on the surface. Once all rust has turned grey, brush away any residue with a wire brush or steel wool.
- Wipe dry with a lint-free cloth.
- After 30 minutes apply a coat of Nitromors Rust Armour or Rust Primer
