There are 2 indicator lights on the front of the unit that let you know when the machine is turned on (red light), and when it is to temperature, and ready to be used (green light). The waffles will easily come from the moulds and on to your plate thanks to the non-stick nature of the hot plates. These are also brilliant for the cleaning process, as there will be minimal excess residue stuck to the machine, allowing you to simply wipe clean all 4 moulds once the machine has been turned off, and is down to a cool temperature.
