Choose the right setup for your home
1. Check compatibility
Check the compatibility of your existing doorbell wiring system to help you decide how you would like to power your Ring Video Doorbell Wired. More information about compatibility can be found in the Help Centre here.
2. Select your power source
If your existing doorbell wiring system is incompatible we recommend installation by a qualified professional using Ring DIN Rail Transformer. Alternatively, you can use Ring Plug-In Adapter to power Ring Video Doorbell Wired from a standard electrical socket.
3. Follow the steps on the Ring app
Once you have decided which installation option is best for you, follow the full installation steps on the free Ring app. Don't forget to add a Ring Chime to hear notifications around your home.
Complete control from the Ring app
With the Ring app, you can connect to all your Ring devices to see what's happening at home from anywhere, adjust your motion settings and use Live View to check on your home at any time.
Ring Protect Plan
Standard features such as instant notification, Live View, Two-Way Talk and Advanced Motion Detection features are available out of the box and at no additional cost on all compatible Ring devices. Get even more out of all your Ring doorbells and cameras with a Ring Protect subscription, and activate video recording and Snapshot Capture on your device. Ring Protect is an optional subscription that allows you to record, review and share the moments you missed, at any time. You can enjoy a free trial of Ring Protect for 30 days. At the end of the free trial, you can choose to continue with your Ring Protect Plan by subscribing on ring.com for only £2.50/month per device or £8/month per household.
Works with Alexa
Connect Ring Video Doorbell Wired with select Alexa-enabled devices for hands-free convenience. I have a Pro doorbell and needed a secondary doorbell. When this came up in a search I was expecting something very substandard due to the price - but given the quality I had become used to from the Ring brand, my curiosity got the better of me. So I ordered one. I have not been disappointed, marginally less features for almost 1/4 of the price. Excellent service from onbuy.com too. Highly recommended.

We have the Ring Pro doorbell at home and wanted a secondary bell for a separate location. We went for ring again so that it could all be managed via one app and share the storage plan etc. Super simple and straightforward to fit. Works very well and does what it needs to. Also the video and image quality is still very very good considering the much lower price tag. Buying ring means you also get piece of mind compared with unknown Chinese brands in similar price range.
Excellent product and easy to fit and connect to existing wiring just modify the connections in your chimes. If you don’t have a chimes fed by a transformer “battery powered” you will need to purchase a transformer? Connected to my WiFi easily and then just follow the app instructions also can alert you via Alexa.
Works well , some wiring adjustments needed, so not for the amateur. Planning the subscription so we can use record as this is mot free.

I am pleased with the doorbell. It arrived very quickly. The picture is very clear during daylight hours, not as good on night vision, but as I expected for a product at the lower end of the price scale. It works well so far. I did need help to set up ring protect.
