It holds the phone well but if you attach the other end to anything slightly thick it pops off, if I try to adjust my phone it has a tendency to jump off the other end.

Not recommended! The clasp is as effective as the arcade games that try to grasp onto toys and always drop them! Plus the wire could not hold a paper clip off the ground, nevermind the weight of a small mobile! As soon as you put the clasp around the mobile it sinks to the ground and I have a very small light iphone. Waste of money.
