The cornflower is a tall slender plant of great charm.

It is much sought after for both garden decoration and for flower arrangements.

Cornflower colours now include rich shades of red, pink, lilac and white.

Deadheading helps to prolong the flowering season and late summer/early autumn planting will produce larger, earlier-flowering plants.

Unlike some of the taller varieties the wiry stems of Cornflower Double Mixed seldom needs support.

Grows to a height of 45-50cm and flowers from June-September.

Fully hardy, Cornflower prefers a sunny position but will grow in almost any well-drained site, even in poor quality soil.

Great choice for attracting butterflies, bees and many other beneficial insects to the garden.

Easy to grow, this mixed selection will create a stunning display in any garden.
