Freesias are best known as cut flowers, and most people bring them indoors for their breath-taking fragrance.

Often the jewel at the centre of a bridal bouquet, just a few of these brightly coloured blooms will fill a room with their heavenly scent.

Freesia need a sunny, well drained site and the corms should be planted 1.5 - 2" deep and approx 3" apart making sure the pointed end is upwards.

Like many South African plants freesia flowers open in sequence along arched stems, providing a long blooming period and the thin, spiky foliage blends well with most other items planted nearby.

Freesia multiply rapidly, forming dense clumps and overtime they will become overcrowded, it is best to dig up the bulbs and separate them after 2-3 years.

These easy-to-grow bulbs in a mix of colours: red, yellow, orange, white and lavender, are excellent either indoors in pots or outdoors in summer borders.

The blooms deliver an unforgettable perfume which is almost addictive.

Harvest your freesia blooms as often as you need for flower arrangements and bouquets to add colour and fragrance to your home, so long as the root system of the plants remain intact cutting won't harm or damage them.

Corms of Freesia Double Mixed will only be accepted for return after seller has been informed and given permission. Refunds will be issued when items are received back in saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date.
