Amaryllis Luna

Although commonly known as Amaryllis most of the bulbs offered for sale in autumn are really varieties of Hippeastrum.

Originating in the tropical mountain regions of Chile and Peru these amazing flowers are one of the easiest plants to bring into bloom.

In winter and early spring clusters of lily-like flowers are produced on thick stalks or stems over an extended period.

Amaryllis Luna is a relatively new cultivar that produces large, creamy white flowers with subtle green markings and tapered ends

The blooms open particularly wide to reveal a striking apple-green throat helping to create an elegant winter display.

This jumbo amaryllis variety is prized for its impressive size and unique coloration.

Our giant bulbs of Amaryllis Luna can grow three or four stems and are topped with four large cream petals that transition to apple-green at the base.

These jumbo bulbs size 42/44, are among the biggest in the industry.

The flower bulbs take 8-10 weeks to bloom after potting and will produce 3 to 4 stems per bulb with multiple flowers per stem

These robust bulbs typically reach around 24 inches in height and 8-10 inches in width

Amaryllis Luna imparts a wintry sophistication to frost-laden windowsills, though some bulbs may not flower until after the winter holidays

We want you to be happy with your purchase and all our Amaryllis bulbs are checked and inspected visually before packing. In the unlikely event of a problem please advise us within 48hrs of delivery. Due to the nature of the goods we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll. Bulbs of Amaryllis Luna will only be accepted for return after seller has been informed and given permission. A valid reason for return must be quoted. Refunds will only be issued when items are received back in saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date. Buyer must pay all return charges except where an item has been shipped in error
