Amaryllis Magical Touch. Huge 42-46cm Bulbs. Bicolour

Amaryllis Magical Touch. Huge 42-46cm Bulbs. Bicolour Description

Amaryllis Magical Touch

Amaryllis Magical Touch is a stunning hybrid variety that captivates gardeners with its distinctive bicoloured blooms and reliable flowering performance.

This cultivar produces large, trumpet-shaped flowers measuring 6-8 inches across, featuring crimson red petals dramatically edged with silver white borders.

The striking contrast creates an almost painted appearance, as if each petal has been delicately brushed with colour.

Magical Touch typically produces 3-4 flowers per stem, with mature bulbs often sending up multiple flower stalks for an impressive display.

The blooms emerge from sturdy, hollow stems that can reach 18-24 inches in height, making them excellent for both potted displays and cut flower arrangements.

This variety is particularly prized for its consistent blooming habit and relatively compact growth, making it ideal for indoor growing during winter months.

The bulbs are typically planted indoors in autumn for blooms 6-8 weeks later just in time for Christmas.

Like most Amaryllis Magical Touch prefers well-draining soil and bright, indirect light when grown indoors.

After blooming, the foliage should be maintained to feed the bulb for next year's spectacular display.

This reliable performer combines classic amaryllis elegance with distinctive colouring that adds sophistication to any home.
