Basket is a disaster an should never have left the factory floor. Actual pot is good size an no problems.
I am delighted with this purchase. Just what I needed and am used to as an alternative to a traditional frying pan.

This is a traditional deep fat fryer. It is large with a net and very easy to clean good value

Love this large fryer and basket ... great for making and draining chips. The Pyrex lid fits the pan well, but does not fit securely on the pan when the basket is being used, which does not bother me ... I am using the lid on something else now. Looks smart. I am very happy with this product.
