Cabbage (Round) Redsky F1 Description
Unwins Cabbage Red Sky F1 Seeds produce attractive bright red cabbages. Quick to mature, these are an easy to grow variety for veg patches, allotments or raised beds.
An early-cropping, uniform variety with good disease resistance. Cabbage Red Sky F1 is full of vitamins and antioxidants for a healthy addition to your plate.

Sowing Indoors
Sow thinly, 1 cm deep, in clean trays or modules filled with firm, pre-watered compost. Place in warmth (10-15 C) and keep soil moist at all times.
Growing On / Planting Out
When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings 5 cm apart into trays or individual pots of potting compost. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out in their cropping position. Water generously in dry weather.
Sowing Outdoors
Sow thinly in a shallow, pre-watered row. Lightly cover with soil and keep moist until seedlings are established. Thin to 2 cm apart.
Transplanting
When seedlings have about four true leaves, transplant them to their cropping positions. Firm in and keep well watered during dry spells.
Aftercare
Avoid planting in the same soil as other Brassicas the previous year. Cover with protective netting or fleece to prevent attack from birds and insects. Water thoroughly after planting.
