HARDY CYCLAMEN

Cyclamen hederifolium.

Sometimes called Ivy Leaf Cyclamen, you cannot help but love these delightful little plants.

In September tiny pink flowers with red centres poke their heads through the ground and they are followed about four weeks later by the mound forming green and silver mottled foliage.

Great planted en-mass they will naturalize in woodland settings where they can be dry in summer when they are dormant.

Named by the Royal Horticultural Society as one of the top 200 plants of the last 200 years! High Praise indeed.

Our plants are supplied ex. 9cm pots and can be planted out immediately but may benefit from growing on for a short time in a slightly lager container before planting in their final growing positions.

We ask all our buyers to remember plants are living items and their appearance changes with the seasons.  Please don't panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website. This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year and just enjoying a well-earned rest before bursting into action for the new season. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.

We want you to be happy with your purchase and all our items are checked and inspected visually before packing. In the unlikely event of a problem please advise us within 48hrs of delivery. Due to the nature of the goods we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll.
