Houseplant Zumula Description

Unwins Houseplant Zumula Seeds are part of the NEW Unwins indoor plant seeds range. The Zumula plant has decorative, grass-like foliage and is a low-maintenance plant for your home. 

The lush, arching foliage is perfect as decorative 'cat grass' for indoor spaces.

Sow: January to December

Sowing
Level fill a tray with Westland Seed & Cutting Compost, firming gently with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Scatter seeds thinly without covering with compost. Place the tray in a propagator at 20-25 C or cover with cling film and leave in a warm room.

Growing On
When shoots appear, remove cling film. Keep seedlings in a light position but shade from direct sunlight. Once seedlings have at least 4 leaves, transplant 5 cm apart into trays of Westland Houseplant Potting Mix or singly into small pots. Maintain a minimum temperature of 12 C.

Advice
Seeds require light to germinate; do not cover with compost when sowing.
