Pittosporum Silver Ball

Pittosporum Silver Ball Description

A Shimmering Silvery Professional for a Naturally Polished Garden Look

The Pittosporum 'Silver Ball' is a "topiary professional" that brings a bright, modern elegance to any outdoor space without the need for constant clipping. This variety is highly prized for its naturally neat and rounded growth habit, forming a perfect silver-green sphere of foliage. Its small, wavy-edged leaves are a soft grey-green, beautifully margined with a crisp creamy-white, creating a shimmering effect that catches the light. As a hardy evergreen, it provides a clean and sophisticated structure 365 days a year, making it one of the absolute best choices for adding a "designer" touch to your garden borders or patio displays.

This hardworking shrub is exceptionally resilient and acts as a fantastic, low-maintenance alternative to traditional Box (Buxus) hedging. Because of its naturally tidy form, it requires very little pruning to maintain its iconic "ball" shape. It is famously tolerant of coastal conditions and urban environments, performing reliably in full sun or light shade to provide a dense and vibrant green screen. These 3L garden-ready plants arrive fully rooted and ready to provide immediate impact. Whether you are framing a doorway in large pots or adding texture to a contemporary border, 'Silver Ball' delivers dependable year-round colour and architectural form with minimal care.
