Broccoli Delistem Green Description

Beautifully smooth and tender, sweet stems. A high-yielding variety producing an abundance of sweet, tender stems, perfect for stir-fries and steaming.

Harvest: Jun to Dec

Sowing Indoors
Sow two seeds 1.5 cm deep in each module of a tray filled with firm, pre-watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times. When seedlings are large enough to handle, thin to one per module.

Planting Out
Plant in the final position 30 cm apart, with 45 cm between rows, when plants have 3-4 true leaves.

Sowing Outdoors
Sow three seeds per station, 1.5 cm deep, directly into the soil bed, spaced 30 cm apart. Keep soil moist and protect from frost. Thin to one strong seedling per station once large enough to handle.

Growing On
Keep soil moist and weed-free. Pinch out the main head to encourage the growth of multiple side shoots.

Aftercare
Use netting to protect from cabbage white butterfly and other pests. Harvest regularly to encourage continued cropping.
