Also known as Corn Salad.

Said to get its unusual names because the leaves resemble the size and shape of a lambs tongue and corn salad because in the wild it grows as a weed in cereal crops.

Our Lambs Lettuce or Corn Salad seeds are just perfect for producing mild flavoured salad leaves through the winter months.

The long spoon-shaped leaves will add a distinctive, nutty, tangy flavour to any salad dish.

Although usually served raw, Lambs Lettuce can also be steamed and served as a vegetable.

Easy to grow, Lambs Lettuce can be grown all year round and can be raised both indoors and outdoors.

For a late spring or early summer harvest sow undercover in late winter or early spring and for summer cutting sow outdoors in early to mid-spring.

To harvest in winter or very early spring sow outdoors in late summer.

Very hardy, and while growth will slow down in winter Corn Salad will still provide you with a source of fresh, tangy, nutty leaves when little else is available.

Refunds will be issued when items are received back in saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date.
